Job Posting: Teacher (Elementary)

International School of Djibouti is seeking teachers for our third year of operation. The successful candidate will take up the appointment September 1st, 2019 or earlier. We have five classrooms at our school which include a pre-school, a K – 2nd grade class, a 3rd - 5th grade, 6th – 8th grade class, and a web-based high school. Currently, we have around 35 students. For 2019-2020 we will need two teachers to work with our diverse student body of TCKs and Djiboutians to facilitate and teach our curriculum. Our school has a family atmosphere that utilizes a home-school based curriculum to facilitate multiple grades in one classroom. Next year we expect a typical class size to be 10-15 students.

• A bachelor’s degree

• Solid references

• Willingness to make a one or two-year commitment

• Two years’ experience in elementary education
